Links to these articles display on the main page of Apple's web site and in their RSS feed. Apple chose the Church's film about the Prophet Joseph Smith because of the work done by the special effects team for the film, lead by Bryan Rowland, Doug Stewart, and Kelly Peterson, using Apple's "Shake" effects software and Macintosh G4 and G5 computers. "Shake" has also played a crucial role in at least seven films that have won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

The article explains:

The effects were for “Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration,” a new feature film on the life of Joseph Smith. One of the most charismatic and influential religious figures in American history, Smith founded the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly known as the Mormons.
