Apple Launches New TV Ads

New Mac Ads

Apple Computers launched a new series of ads yesterday to show how interoperative Macs are with PCs, while at the same time poking fun at PC vulnerabilities and limitations. The six new spots feature two guys, standing in front of Apple's trademark glossy white background. The older frumpy guy in a suit is the PC, played by author John Hodgman, while a hip 20-something guy, played by Justin Long (Herbie Fully Loaded), represents a mac.

The ads cover a range of topics from viruses to ease of use to networking and interoperability. One ad features praise for the Mac from the Wall Street Journal's Walt Mossberg. In the WSJ ad, the PC brags about his write-up in the "Awesome PC Journal".

If you are a Mac-fan, the new Apple Ads are sure to make you smile. The ads should start appearing on TV this week.
